Gweithio gyda Mostyn, CARN a Borderland Poetics ym mis Tachwedd/Rhagfyr 2026
Mae Borderland Poetics: Rewilding Tongues yn cyhoeddi galwad agored i guraduron, cynhyrchwyr neu hwyluswyr sydd ar ddechrau eu gyrfaoedd i weithio gyda CARN a Mostyn. Mae hon yn gyfle i weithwyr proffesiynol diwylliannol sy’n dod i’r amlwg ac wedi’u lleoli yn Estonia, Gwlad yr Iâ neu’r Ffindir i ennill profiad gwaith rhyngwladol uniongyrchol, ac i ddysgu am baratoi a chynhyrchu arddangosfeydd a rhaglenni cyhoeddus. Mae hwn yn gyfle â thâl sy’n hyrwyddo cydweithrediad rhwng Cymru a’r rhanbarth Nordig-Baltig.
Rhaid i’r ymgeisydd fod yn barod i weithio dros gyfnod o dair wythnos yng Ngogledd Cymru, rhwng Llandudno a Chaernarfon, rhwng mis Tachwedd a mis Rhagfyr 2026. Bydd y cynorthwyydd yn gweithio ar y cyd â thimau CARN a Mostyn i gynorthwyo gyda chynhyrchu digwyddiadau, gosod arddangosfeydd a rheoli, yn ogystal â dysgu am y meysydd hyn. Bydd cyfleoedd i rannu eich diddordebau ymchwil â thîm o guraduron a chyfarwyddwyr Mostyn a CARN. Darperir cymorth i hwyluso cyflwyniadau i artistiaid yn yr ardal, trefnu ymweliadau â stiwdios a hwyluso cyfarfodydd â sefydliadau lleol.
Mae patrymau gwaith a dyddiadau cychwyn yn hyblyg i weddu i anghenion yr ymgeiswyr, ond dylai ymgeiswyr fod yn ymwybodol o daith ymchwil Borderland Poetics rhwng y 9fed a’r 13eg o Dachwedd; yn ystod y cyfnod hwn, bydd curaduron, artistiaid a chyfarwyddwyr o rwydwaith Borderland Poetics yn ymweld â Gogledd Cymru.
Manylion y grant
Mae’r rhaglen yn cynnig ysgoloriaeth o €3,000 ar gyfer cyfnod cyfan yr interniaeth ac yn talu costau teithio (a chostau fisa os oes angen) i’r cyfranogwr hefyd. Rhaid i’r cyfranogwr drefnu a thalu am lety, ond bydd y sefydliadau cynnal yn helpu i ddod o hyd i’r llety os oes angen. Gall y sefydliad cynnal hefyd helpu i wneud cais am gymorth interniaeth ychwanegol gan Erasmus+ neu ffynonellau eraill os yw’n berthnasol.

Ynglŷn â’r sefydliadau derbyn
CARN
Mae CARN yn fenter dan arweiniad artistiaid, sy’n agored i artistiaid, sefydliadau celfyddydol ac aelodau’r gymuned. Y rhai sydd â diddordeb yn y celfyddydau, creadigrwydd a all weld ei fanteision i lesiant a ffyniant y gymuned. Mae CARN yn cydnabod, trwy helpu artistiaid i ddatblygu arferion celf hyderus a ffyniannus, y gall wneud y mwyaf o’r cyfraniad a wnânt i gymdeithas. Mae CARN yn ffynnu gyda chyfranogiad, boed yn wirfoddoli i helpu i osod yr arddangosfa nesaf, rôl llawrydd yn rhedeg ein sesiwn ABC neu’n cymryd rhan yn un o nosweithiau ein haelodau. Mae CARN yn fenter dan arweiniad artistiaid sy’n cynnal gweithdai cymunedol, sgyrsiau, preswylfeydd ac arddangosfeydd a phrosiectau allanol fel rhan o’n rhaglen ymgysylltu cymunedol.
Mostyn
Mae Mostyn yn oriel gelf gyhoeddus yn Llandudno, Gogledd Cymru, gyda rhaglen o arddangosfeydd celf gyfoes sy’n gymharol â’r rhai mewn canolfannau celf byd-eang. Mae Mostyn yn creu amrywiaeth o weithgareddau creadigol i ymwelwyr eu mwynhau yn Mostyn neu gartref, sydd wedi’u hysbrydoli gan y rhaglen arddangosfeydd. Mae Mostyn hefyd yn gweithio gydag ysgolion, colegau, prifysgolion, a grwpiau ieuenctid, cymunedol ac anghenion arbennig.
Ynglŷn â’r rhaglen
Mae’r rhaglen interniaeth yn rhan o’r prosiect Borderland Poetics: Rewilding Tongues, prosiect cydweithredu tair blynedd rhwng Canolfan Celf Gyfoes Estonia (Tallinn, Estonia), Amgueddfa Gelf Aine (Tornio, y Ffindir), Canolfan Gelf Gwlad yr Iâ (Reykjavik, Gwlad yr Iâ), Mostyn (Llandudno, Cymru) a CARN (Caernarfon, Cymru). Nod y prosiect yw cysylltu gweithwyr proffesiynol ym maes diwylliant sy’n gweithio yng Nghymru ac yn rhanbarth y Baltig a’r gwledydd Nordig, a chreu cyfleoedd interniaeth â thâl ar gyfer gweithwyr proffesiynol diwylliannol sy’n dod i’r amlwg. Cynhaliwyd interniaethau blaenorol ar y cyd â Tallinn Print Triennial yn Estonia a Gŵyl Gelf Sequences yng Ngwlad yr Iâ.
Ar gyfer y cyfnod profiad gwaith yng Nghymru, mae Mostyn wedi gwahodd CARN i ymuno fel partner lletyol, gan ymestyn y cydweithrediad ar draws Gogledd Cymru a chryfhau ei gysylltiad ag ecosystem ddiwylliannol ehangach y rhanbarth.
Mae teitl y prosiect yn cyfeirio at arddangosfa, “Border Poetics”, a guradwyd gan y curadur o Estonia, Eha Komissarov, yn 2018.

Working with Mostyn, CARN and Borderland Poetics in November/ December 2026
Borderland Poetics: Rewilding Tongues announces an open call for early career curators, producers or facilitators to work with CARN and Mostyn. This is an opportunity for emerging cultural professionals based in Estonia, Iceland or Finland to gain first-hand international work experience, learn about preparing and producing exhibitions and public programmes. This is a paid opportunity that promotes cooperation between Wales and the Nordic-Baltic region.
The applicant must be willing to work over a period of 3 weeks in North Wales between Llandudno and Caernarfon, between November and December 2026. The assistant will work together with the teams of CARN and Mostyn to assist with and learn about event production, exhibition installation, and management. There will be opportunities to share your research interests with Mostyn and CARN’s team of curators and directors. Support will be provided to make introductions to artists in the area and facilitate studio visits and meet with local organisations.
Working patterns and start dates are flexible to suit the needs of the candidates, but candidates should be aware of the Borderland Poetics research trip from 9th to 13th November, during which time curators, artists and directors from across the Borderland Poetics network will be visiting North Wales.
Grant details
The programme offers a scholarship of 3000€ for the entire internship period and additionally covers travel expenses (and visa expenses if necessary) for the participant. Accommodation must be organized and paid by the participant, but the host institutions will help with finding the accommodation if necessary. The host institution can also help with applying for additional internship support from Erasmus+ or other sources if applicable.

The deadline for applications is 20th October 2026.
Please send your application to kalliopi@mostyn.org stating the country where you are based. A jury consisting of representatives of CARN and Mostyn will shortlist the applicants for an interview, from which one participant will be selected for the internship.

Requirements:
Higher education (at least BA level) in the field of arts;
Fluent English speaker;
Must be based in or from Estonia, Iceland or Finland;
Job experience in the visual arts will be regarded as an advantage.
About the host institutions
CARN
CARN is an artist-led initiative, open to artists, arts organisations and community members. Those who are interested in the arts, creativity and can see its benefits towards the wellbeing and prosperity of the community. CARN recognises that by helping artists to develop confident and thriving art practices, it can maximise the contribution they make to society. CARN thrives with participation whether it is volunteering to help install the next exhibition, freelance role running our ABC session or taking part in one of our members evenings. CARN is an artist-led initiative which runs community workshops, talks, residencies and external exhibitions and projects as part of our community engagement program.
Mostyn is a public art gallery in Llandudno, North Wales, with a programme of contemporary art exhibitions on a par with those in major global art centres. Mostyn produces a range of creative activities for visitors to enjoy at Mostyn or at home that are inspired by the exhibition programme. Mostyn also works with schools, colleges, universities, youth, community and special needs groups.
About the programme
The internship programme is part of the project Borderland Poetics: Rewilding Tongues, a 3-year-long cooperation project between the Estonian Centre for Contemporary Art (Tallinn, Estonia), Aine Art Museum (Tornio, Finland), Icelandic Art Center (Reykjavik, Iceland), Mostyn (Llandudno, Wales) and CARN (Caernarfon, Wales). The aim of the project is to connect cultural professionals based in Wales and in the Baltic-Nordic region and create paid internship opportunities for emerging cultural professionals. Previous internships have taken place in collaboration with the Tallinn Print Triennial in Estonia and the Sequences Art Festival in Iceland.
For the Wales-based internship, Mostyn has invited CARN to join as a host partner, extending the collaboration across North Wales and strengthening its connection to the region’s wider cultural ecology.
The title of the project is a reference to an exhibition, “Border Poetics”, curated by the Estonian curator Eha Komissarov in 2018.
The project is supported by the Nordic Culture Point.
