PRESWYLIADAU PEILLIO I ARTISTIAID | POLLINATOR ARTISTS RESIDENCIES
Fel rhan o raglen MUDO gan CARN, mae CARN wedi ymuno â StudioMADE, g39 ac Elysium i gynnig 6 preswyliad cyfnewidol â thâl gyffrous rhwng ein gofodau. Bydd CARN yn croesawu 3 artist preswyl o'r gofodau eraill dan arweiniad artistiaid, ac yn cynnig cyfle i 3 aelod o CARN fod yn breswylwyr yn y gofodau hynny.
Mae'r preswyliadau hyn ar agor i aelodau CARN, ac i artistiaid sy'n gysylltiedig â StudioMADE, g39 ac Elysium. Rydym yn gwahodd cynigion yn seiliedig ar thema mudo cadarnhaol a chyfnewid diwylliannol. Gall y cynnig fod o ddiddordeb penodol i'ch ymarfer neu'n berthnasol i'ch cymuned, tirwedd neu dreftadaeth ddiwylliannol. Bwriad y preswyliadau hyn yw cefnogi ymholiad artistig ac ymchwil sy'n cael ei yrru gan brosesau, gan gynnig amser, lle ac adnoddau i artistiaid ddatblygu syniadau a chydweithrediadau newydd heb bwysau canlyniad rhagnodedig.
Beth mae'r preswyliadau yn ei gynnig
Rydym yn cynnig 6 preswyliad 5 diwrnod (1 yn StudioMADE / 1 yn Elysium / 1 yn g39 / 3 yn CARN (i artistiaid o'r lleoliadau eraill)), mae pob preswyliad yn cynnig ffi o £1,250 fesul artist ynghyd â chostau teithio a llety hyd at £550 fesul preswyliad.
Bydd CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium a g39 yn cynnig lle i bob artist preswyl weithio ynddo, yn ogystal â mentora a chefnogaeth gan staff. Bydd gan breswylwyr fynediad hefyd at weithgareddau ymgysylltu â'r cyhoedd, canllawiau curadurol, cyngor cynhyrchu a chyflwyniad i gysylltiadau defnyddiol lle bo angen fesul lleoliad.
Bydd panel o CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium a g39 yn dewis yr artist(iaid). Bydd yr ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus yn cael eu hysbysebu erbyn 28 Chwefror 2026 gyda'r preswyliadau yn digwydd rhwng Mawrth a Mehefin 2026. Bwriedir i'r preswyliadau fod yn hyblyg gan gydnabod y bydd gan artistiaid ymrwymiadau eraill ochr yn ochr â'u hymarfer. Cytunir ar rythm ac amserlen y preswyliad trwy ddeialog rhwng CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium a g39 a'r artist(iaid) a ddewisir.
Bydd digwyddiad rhannu gwybodaeth ar-lein ar 14 Ionawr 2026 gyda'r holl sefydliadau partner gyda chyfle i chi ofyn cwestiynau. Bydd cyfle hefyd i ymgeiswyr ymweld â rhai o'r lleoedd neu eu trafod.[1]

As part of CARN’s MUDO programme, CARN has teamed up with StudioMADE, g39 and Elysium to offer 6 exciting paid residential exchanges between our spaces. CARN will host 3 resident artists from the other artist-led spaces, and will give 3 CARN members a chance to be resident at those spaces.
These residencies are open to CARN members, and to artists associated with StudioMADE, g39 and Elysium. We invite proposals based on the theme of positive migration and cultural exchange. The proposal can be of specific interest to your practice or of relevance to your community, landscape or cultural heritage. These residencies are intended to support artistic inquiry and process-driven research, offering time, space, and resources for artists to develop new ideas and collaborations without the pressure of a predetermined outcome.
What the residencies offer
We are offering 6 x 5-day residencies (1 at StudioMADE / 1 at Elysium / 1 at g39 / 3 at CARN (for artists from the other venues)), each residency offers a fee of £1,250 per artist plus travel and accommodation costs up to £550 per residency.
CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium and g39 will offer space for each resident artist to work in, as well as mentoring and support from staff. Residents will also have access to public engagement activities, curatorial guidance, production advice and introduction to useful contacts where required per location.
The artist(s) will be selected by a panel from CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium and g39. The successful applicants will be informed by the 28th of February 2026 with the residencies taking place between March - June 2026. The residencies are intended to be flexible in recognition that artists will have other commitments alongside their practice. The rhythm and timeline of the residency will be agreed through dialogue between CARN, StudioMADE, Elysium and g39 and the selected artist(s).
There will be an online sharing event on the 14th of January 2026 with all the partner organisations with an opportunity for you to ask questions. There will also be an opportunity for applicants to visit or discuss some of the spaces[1]
