Susan Cantrill-Williams

 Mae Susan yn creu delweddau sy’n tarddu o archwilio y natur o dirwedd Gogledd Cymru a sut mae’r broses o echdynnu a cloddio wedi effeithio ar edrychiad tirwedd Gogledd Cymru. O haenau daearyddol a daearograffeg, mae’r delweddau yn cynnwys haenau o baentio, darlunio, argraffu a ysgythriad laser, wedi’u droshaenu, neu’u tanhaenu â metalau gwerthfawr.

Susan makes images derived from exploring the nature of the Welsh landscape and how the extraction and quarrying processes have impacted on the appearance of the North Wales landscape.  From geographical and geological layers the images consist of layers of painting, drawing, print and laser etching, they are overlaid, or under laid with precious metals.
